First Professional Groom for Puppies

Service Description

The aim of this first appointment is an introduction to professional grooming to desensitise your puppy and get them comfortable with the grooming process. This includes being touched all over their body, using equipment on their body (combing, trimming nails, clippers on hygiene areas, water & blowdryer) and learning their body language and cues to help build a trusting relationship between me and your puppy. I aim to complete the groom but during this appointment, the most important aspect is ensuring the puppy is comfortable. This may mean not all nails are trimmed, not all hair is combed or that the puppy is dried slowly. Please note that a full clip, matt removal or deshedding is not included in this service. If a different service is needed, the full price of the service your pet needs will be charged. Please note that this service is only for puppies under 6 months old. Older dogs will be charged full price. Please note that price may vary depending on what is achieved during this appointment and your dogs breed & weight. This will be discussed with you, in person, prior to the commencement of the groom. For example, a Chihuahua puppy will cost less than a Saint Bernard puppy.
